Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin's upcoming film, Looop Lapeta, has garnered much attention, thanks to the interesting first look posters. It is the Hindi remake of the Oscar-nominated German-language thriller titled Run Lola Run (1998). After much wait, the makers have finally announced Looop Lapeta's theatrical release date.
Taapsee, on Instagram, shared a video and announced that Looop Lapeta will release on October 22 this year. wrote, "A comic-thriller we rarely get! Brace yourself to meet Savi and Satya..... #LooopLapeta in theatres this October 22, 2021. " Taapsee will play the role of Savi and Tahir will be seen as Satya.
Looop Lapeta was shot in Mumbai and Goa in November. The film is currently in post-production. It is directed by ad filmmaker Aakash Bhatia and produced by Sony Pictures Films India, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar and Aayush Maheshwari.
