Alia Bhatt resumes work after testing negative for Covid-19 and undergoing isolation; thanks fans for their love and concern

Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram stories to confirm that she has tested negative for Covid-19. The actress also shared that she is back to work too. Alia’s beau Ranbir Kapoor had tested positive for coronavirus leading to speculation that the actress might also have a positive test. On the other hand, she had been working closely with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Gangubai Kathiawadi and he also tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday.

However, now, Alia has ended all speculation with her declaration. She wrote, “I’ve been reading all your messages of concern and care. I have tested negative for Covid-19 and after isolating and speaking with my doctors, I am back to work from today. Thank you all for all your good wishes! I am taking care and staying safe. You please do the same. Love to you all!”

Ranbir’s mother veteran actress Neetu Kapoor had confirmed that Ranbir was on medication for Covid. In a social media post the veteran actress had shared, "Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions," she wrote in her post, with a picture of Ranbir.”

Alia and Ranbir have also been working together to wrap Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The sci-fi drama also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.
