Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's Sooryavanshi to release in theatres on April 30

On March 2, 2020, the much-awaited trailer of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's Sooryavanshi was released at a grand event in the city. The 4 minutes 15 seconds long trailer of the Rohit Shetty actioner left fans excited for the big screen fun. However, due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Gudi Padwa 2020 release of Sooryavanshi was postponed. Now, after a year-long wait, the film is all set to release in theatres on April 30, 2021.

Today, on Rohit's birthday, Akshay shared a teaser of Sooryavanshi and announced the new release date. "We promised you all a cinematic experience and that’s what you will get...the wait is finally over! Aa Rahi Hai Police. #Sooryavanshi releasing worldwide in cinemas on 30th April 2021," Akshay tweeted.

Sooryavanshi was scheduled to release in theatres on March 24, 2020. The film is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Rohit and Akshay. Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn will be seen in cameos.
