Parineeti Chopra is all set to take to courts with Saina Nehwal biopic Saina. The actress has already garnered immense praise for her portrayal of the ace shuttler ever since the trailer was released. Parineeti also spoke about the intense physical training she had to undergo to play the role of an athlete.
Now, in a BTS video that was shared by the makers, Parineeti can be seen training hard to get into the skin of her character. In the video the actress talks about how she had to undergo vigorous training regime before she took up the sport and transformed into Saina on the court.
We get to see Parineeti doing all sorts of exercises and talking about how she cried on several days after training. Her fitness and badminton coach also spoke about the injuries she sustained in order to play the ace athlete.
Saina is directed by Amole Gupte and also stars Manav Kaul, Meghna Malik, Subhrajyoti Barat and Ankur Vikal. It is slated to release on March 26.
