Several questions were raised against the makers of the upcoming thriller Chehre after Rhea Chakraborty remained absent from multiple posters. Rhea was embroiled in the case surrounding Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely demise in 2020. Now, putting all speculations to rest, Rhea finally made an appearance in the trailer of Chehre that stars Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. She was seen for a fraction of seconds towards the end of the trailer.
Now, producer Anand Pandit issued a statement regarding Rhea's appearance in Chehre's trailer. He said, "There was never any question of not having Rhea in the film. She was, is and will always be an integral part of Chehre. I don't believe in getting swayed so easily."
Recently, in an interview with a leading daily, Anand remained tight-lipped on Rhea's presence in the film. Talking about the poster, he said, "We did not react because we have decided not to talk about Rhea at this moment. We will answer questions regarding her at the right time. At this juncture, there is nothing more I can say."
Chehre is directed by Rumy Jafry and produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures & Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited. It also stars Annu Kapoor, Drithiman Chakroborthy, Raghubir Yadav and Siddhanth Kapoor. The film will release on April 9.
