Kangana Ranaut is on cloud nine today and why not! The actress is receiving appreciation for the trailer of Thalaivi which was launched in Chennai today. Kangana is also celebrating her 34th birthday. Thalaivi, directed by Vijay, is based on the life of late Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa. This is the first time Kangana is working with the South director. At the trailer launch this afternoon, Kangana got emotional while she praised Vijay for accepting her wholeheartedly. She thanked him for not making her feel apologetic about her talent.
"Never in my life have I met a man who has not made me feel apologetic about my talent. I'm getting emotional, I'm not usually like that, but I want to say that he is one person, who has made me feel good about my talent. Usually, the camaraderie they show with the male hero is never shown with an actress. But as a director, I learned from him how to treat actors and how to show creative partnership,” Kangana told.
Thalaivi is Kangana's first trilingual film. It will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. Tracing the inspirational journey of Jayalalithaa, Thalaivi offers insights into the varied phases of the legend's cinematic as well as political life. Thalaivi, presented by Vibri Motion pictures, Karma Media Entertainment and Zee Studios in association with Gothic Entertainment and Sprint films has been produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh and co-produced by Hitesh Thakkar and Thirumal Reddy. Thalaivi will release on April 23, 2021.
