Akshay Kumar has done it again. He has wrapped the shoot of his upcoming film Atrangi Re that also stars Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush in the lead. The actor took to social media to announce schedule wrap with an interesting look from the film.
Sharing the picture in which he is dressed like a magician or an illusionist with a King of Hearts card in his hand, he captioned it, “It’s the last day of #AtrangiRe and I can’t wait for you’ll to experience the magic created by @aanandlrai. Also a big thank you to my co-stars #SaraAliKhan and @dhanushkraja for letting me be a part of this beautiful film.”

Sara also took to social media to announce the schedule wrap of the film. Sharing a few pictures from the sets of the film, she wrote a heartfelt post that read, "That’s a film wrap Ek saal baad Thank you so much @aanandlrai sir for giving me this role, this film and this opportunity. But more than that thank you for your unconditional love, unwavering support, the best India darshan, delicious khana, early morning sunrise drives to location, sufi ginger water evenings, and the most memorable year with the best team @dhanushkraja thank you for always being helpful, motivating and inspiring. Couldn’t have asked for a better partner in this journey and yes thank you for introducing me to your amazing music and mouth watering varieties of South Indian food (even though we could’ve avoided that indulgence during shoots) And thank you so much @akshaykumar sir for bringing so much love, laughter, energy and positivity on our set and sorry for stalking you for photos in all our costumes sir @harjeetsphotography."
Atrangi Re is directed by Aanand L Rai and the AR Rahman musical is produced by Colour Yellow Productions. It will be the first time that Akshay, Dhanush and Sara will be sharing screen space together.
Presented by T-Series, Colour Yellow Productions, and Cape of Good Films, Atrangi Re is written by Himanshu Sharma. The film is scheduled to release on August 6, 2021.
