Unverified videos have long since dragged Bollywood stars into controversies. The latest reportedly features Singham superstar Ajay Devgn who is alleged to have got into an ugly brawl with some locals at Aerocity in Delhi. A video of this melee went viral. Showing men and even women running in and around cars, exchanging blows, tearing clothes, even fighting with security guards.
Somebody took it further on social media saying the main protagonist here was Ajay. Though in not a single frame can the macho Bollywood actor be seen. When PeepingMoon.com sought to clarify the video with Ajay, a member of his team pooh-poohed the same saying, “Ajay hasn’t been to Delhi for some time. He last went in January 2020 for Tanhaji promotions.” So who is in the video? And what is the fight over? Moreover, why was Ajay’s name dragged unnecessarily into this free-for-all? The actor’s associate dismissed the notion saying Ajay is always accompanied by his team when he travels out of Mumbai. And not one of those members are in this video of Fake News!
PeepingMoon.com further found out that it was a case of road rage that escalated into the nasty fight. Delhi Police arrested Taranjit Singh, a resident of Janakpuri who deals in luxury cars, and Naveen Kumar of Chhawla Village who is a property dealer. They are looking for the women who also got into the fight. Meanwhile, for the assurance of his legion of fans, Ajay Devgn was in Mumbai when all this was happening. The actor is busy shooting Maidaan, MayDay and Gangubai Kathiawadi. Despite his violent films, Ajay is a reticent and peace loving family man. He keeps his action for the screen.
The actor's spokesperson has also issued a statement regarding the matter: "Post the promotion of Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior in January 2020, Actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn has not visited Delhi. So media reports of a brawl involving the superstar outside a Delhi pub are absolutely baseless and untrue. We request news agencies and media picking this up to please note that Mr Devgn has been in Mumbai the entire time shooting for Maidaan, MayDay & Gangubai Kathiawadi and he hasn’t set foot in the Capital in 14 months. Request all media to please cross check before putting out anything."

Later in the day, Ajay himself tweeted, "Some ‘doppelgänger’ of mine seems to have got into trouble. I’ve been getting concerned calls. Just clarifying, I’ve not traveled anywhere. All reports regarding me being in any brawl are baseless. Happy Holi"
