Alaya F is currently on cloud nine. The young actress bagged her first Filmfare Award for her debut film Jawaani Jaaneman on March 27. Today, she finally made her much-awaited music video debut. Titled Aaj Sajeya, the song released on social media.
In Aaj Sajeya, Alaya plays a millennial bride. It showcases her journey from her haldi ceremony to the pheras. Unlike other brides, Alaya prefers sneakers over heels and is spunky and fun. Indeed, she serves inspiration for future brides-to-be. Taha Shah Badussha plays Alaya's on-screen husband.
Aaj Sajeya is directed by Punit Malhotra. The singer is Goldie Sohel. The video is produced under Karan Johar's Dharma 2.0.
Talking about the song, Alaya said, "Goldie Sohel has composed Aaj Sajeya with all heart! The evocative lyrics are sung with so much feeling! And as the icing on the cake, Dharma 2.0 and Punit mounted it so beautifully, it has charm and quirk and is just very truthful to a modern young bride! It has all the right components to be the wedding song of the season! This will be my first music video so I’m very excited about it!
