The Government of India has started vaccinating citizens against COVID-19. The first vaccination stage for only for COVID-19 warriors while the second ensured all above the age of 45 are vaccinated. Now, as per the new development, citizens above the age of 18 are eligible for the shot from May 1. Several Bollywood celebrities, who were eligible, got themselves vaccinated. Including Anil Kapoor.
Well, it is tough to believe that Anil, who can give a tough competition to youngsters in their 20s, is 64 years old. The Dil Dhadakne Do actor, on Tuesday, took his second dose of the vaccine and shared a picture on Instagram. "Done With The Second Dose ," he wrote.
But, Anil's son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor just couldn't believe it! He hilariously questioned his father's eligibility for the vaccine and said those below 45 can take the shot only after May 1. "How ? For below 45 years of age you can only get shot post the first of may ," Harsh quipped.
Reacting to his son's comment, Anil said, "If they hadn't seen my date of birth on my Aadhar card, they probably would have asked me to come back after the 1st of May "
Apart from Anil, celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Malaika Arora, Saif Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Sharmila Tagore, Sonu Sood and several others received their first dose of vaccine.
