Popular television actress Ankita Lokhande made her Bollywood debut in Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and followed it up with Baaghi 3. However, they were both supporting roles. Now, according to the recent update the actress has signed her first film as the female lead and it is none other than Vivek Oberoi’s Can You Solve Your Own Murder, Iti.
An online portal quoted a source that said, “Ankita will play the main role in Iti, the murder mystery that Prenaa Arora had announced last year. The film is about a girl who has to solve her own murder. When the makers were scouting for a good performer, they spoke to Ankita who also loved the role. She has already agreed to be part of the film and the shooting was supposed to begin this month in Shimla. But, the Covid second wave has now delayed plans now.”
Iti is being directed by Vishal Ranjan Mishra and is produced by Vivek under his production banner Oberoi Mega Entertainment, Mandiraa Entertainment and Girish Johar. It is creatively backed by Prernaa Arora.
Reportedly, Iti is a murder mystery film that follows the story of a girl who has to solve her own murder. Vivek also stars in the film along with Rajeev Sen and Taher Shabbir. Rajesh Roshan will serve as the music composer of the film.
