India is currently experiencing a dark phase. The country is going through a deadlier second wave of COVID-19. Due to a surge in cases, people are unable to make arrangements for hospital beds, oxygen and even medicines. Not just this, there is a shortage of vaccines too. As India is going through a tough phase, Priyanka Chopra Jonas appealed to the President of the United States to help 'her country'.

"My heart breaks. India is suffering from COVID19 & the US has ordered 550M more vaccines than needed @POTUS @WHCOS @SecBlinken @JakeSullivan46 Thx for sharing AstraZeneca worldwide, but the situation in my country is critical. Will you urgently share vaccines with India?" Priyanka wrote on Twitter.
