Actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal, who has been a part of many popular films, TV shows and web series, passed away on Friday due to COVID-19 complications. He was 52 years old.
Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt informed about the sad news on Instagram and wrote, "Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal passes away. Taken from us by the cruel pandemic. I have done a lot of films with him and this doesn't get closer home. The days are turning into one long obituary and yet each life that we lose cannot be just a number. We cannot allow it to become a number. Each a special friend. May his soul rest in peace. "

Ashoke Pandit mourned the loss of the actor on Twitter. He tweeted, “Sad to hear about the demise of actor Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal this morning due to #Covid. A retired army officer, Kanwarpal had played supporting roles in many films and television serials. Heartfelt condolences to his family & near ones.”

On the work front, the renowned actor was last seen in Disney Plus Hotstar’s popular web series Special Ops.
A retired army officer, Kanwarpal played supporting roles in many films and television serials. In 1989 he commissioned into the Indian Army. He retired from the army in 2002 as a Major. In 2003, he debuted in Bollywood to fulfill his childhood dream of being an actor and had acted since then in many films.
