Vardhan Puri, who is the grandson of veteran actor Amrish Puri, is celebrating his birthday today (May 2). Vardhan made his Bollywood debut with Yeh Saali Aashiqui, a romantic thriller and the film earned him rave reviews for his stellar performance. Needless to say, it's remarkable how the young actor has always shown promise and dedication in his art. - Being born in a family where he grew up watching his grandfather, the legendary actor Amrish Puri, the art came very naturally to Vardhan. He started training at the age of five under the guidance of his grandfather’s mentor, National Award-winning actor-filmmaker writer Satyadev Dubey. He has acted in over 90 plays and not just this Vardhan has been assisting in theatre groups since the young age of 5.
