"You are not alone."- Deepika Padukone has been saying this as she assures fans who are battling mental health issues that they'll be fine with the right counselling and guidance. The actress was diagnosed with clinical depression in 2014 and in 2015, she started her own organisation named Live Love Laugh Foundation to help those suffering from mental health issues. Now, as the country is facing the COVID-19 pandemic and citizens are asked to stay at home, Deepika has once again highlighted the importance of emotional well-being in the current situation.
Deepika, on Instagram, has shared a list of mental health helpline numbers. Assuring her fans that they are not alone, the actress wrote, "As millions of us (me and my family included) strive to stay afloat, let us not forget that our emotional well-being in this current crisis, is equally important! Remember, You Are Not Alone. We are in this together.And most importantly, there is HOPE! #YouAreNotAlone @tlllfoundation."
Workwise, Deepika has films like Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, Fighter with Hrithik Roshan, the Hindi remake of The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan, Nag Ashwin's sci-fi project with Prabhas and Mr. Bachchan, Mahabharat's cinematic version in which she will play Draupadi and Shakun Batra's next co-starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday.
