COVID-19 has claimed many lives across the globe in 1 and a half years. As the virus is causing destruction in the country, actress Pia Bajpiee lost her brother to COVID-19. He breathed his last days hours after Pia sought help for a hospital bed with a ventilator for him in the Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Pia, on Twitter, shared, "I need urgent help in district Farukhabad, Kayamganj block...UP... a bed with ventilator...my brother is dying ...any lead please help. Please Contact if you know anybody - 9415191852 Abhishek... we are already in mess." At 9 am in the morning, she informed, "My brother is no more." Pia is known for films in South.

On the other hand, Jasmin Bhasin's mother has been discharged from the hospital. The actress, on Saturday, tweeted about the poor medical facility in India during COVID-19 second wave. Informing her fans about her mother's health, Jasmin, on Instagram stories, wrote, "My mom is much better now and discharged. Thank you everyone for your prayers. Stay safe and take care guys."
Jasmin, on Saturday, tweeted, "Disappointed and heartbroken. Everyday deaths, people on streets trying to find beds and oxygen. My own mother was in the same situation two days back where finding a bed was a task. My old father was running around to find medical care for her, many are going through same." She asked, "People are losing their loved ones, family. Who do we blame? Has our system failed?"
