Shilpa Shetty took to Instagram to reveal that almost her entire household except her have been tested positive for COVID-19. She said that the last ten days have been extremely difficult for them as family. Shilpa’s parents-in-law, husband Raj Kundra, son Viaan and daughter Samisha have all been infected. They are all in home quarantine and are on the path to recovery. She also wrote that two staff members have contracted coronavirus and are currently in a medical facility.
Taking to Instagram, Shilpa wrote, “The last 10 days have been difficult for us as a family. My parents-in-law tested positive for COVID-19, followed by Samisha, Viaan-Raj, my Mom, and lastly, Raj. They have all been in isolation in their rooms at home as per the official guidelines and have been following the doctor's advice. Two of our in-house staff members have also tested positive and they are being treated at a medical facility. By God's grace everyone is on the road to recovery."
She revealed that she has tested negative and wrote, “My tests came back negative.” She thanked the BMC and the authorities for their prompt help and response.
She also urged everyone to sanitize, wear masks and follow all protocols to combat coronavirus pandemic.
