On Friday, rumours of veteran actress and BJP member Kirron Kher's death started doing the rounds on the internet. Soon, husband Anupam Kher took to social media to put a rest to rumours about Kirron's death. Anupam took to Instagram to announce that they are false and Kirron is doing absolutely fine. On April 1, Anupam had confirmed that Kirron had been diagnosed with blood cancer and is undergoing treatment for it.
Informing everyone that Kirron is fine, Anupam requested people to not spread such negative news. The actor released a statement on Instagram that read, “There is a rumour going around about #Kirron’s health. It is all false. She is doing absolutely fine. In fact she got her 2nd vaccination done for COVID this afternoon. I will request people not to spread such negative news. Thanks. Stay safe.”
The couple got their second jab of the coronavirus vaccine on Friday and he shared pictures on Instagram. This was the first time Kirron was spotted in public post her cancer diagnosis.
A couple of days ago, singer-songwriter Lucky Ali had fallen prey to a death hoax as well and quashed the rumours on his social media pages.
