India is going through the toughest times currently with limited oxygen supply and a shortage of hospital beds for COVID-19 patients. Amid the crisis, several celebrities have come forward to help the nation. Sonu Sood, called the Real Hero of Bollywood, has been helping people ever since COVID-19 hit India last year.
Now, the actor helped Neha Dhupia and Suresh Raina as they made SOS calls for someone they know. A friend reached out to Neha asking for help to seek an injection for a COVID-19 positive patient while Suresh tweeted asking for leads to get an oxygen cylinder for his aunt. Sonu Sood helped them both. Sonu came across both the posts of Neha and Suresh and quickly helped them. The actress and cricketer then thanked Sonu for his much-needed help.

The patient, Bharti, a young girl from Nagpur had put in a request to Sonu. The actor and his team got into action, she was airlifted on an ambulance from Nagpur to Hyderabad for better treatment. Mourning her death, Sonu wrote "Bharti, a young girl from Nagpur whom I airlifted on an air ambulance to Hyderbad passed away last night. Rest in power my dear Bharti. You fought the last month like a complete tigress on the Ecmo machine. Even though I never met you, you'll always hold a special place in my heart. My condolences to her entire family, I'm going to meet them very soon. Life is genuinely unfair at times"
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty also did his bit as he donated to a COVID19 Care Facility. Thanking Rohit Shetty for donating a significant amount to our COVID Care Facility May this service come back as multiple BLESSINGS Rohit Ji"
