On the occasion of Mother’s Day 2021, celebrities flooded social media with generous posts dedicated to their mothers. While some took a trip down to memory lane, some shared recent photos with heartfelt captions. Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar joined the celebrations on Sunday evening and shared adorable pictures of their mothers.
Akshay shared a special message for his mother Aruna Bhatia as he dedicated a Mother's Day post on social media. “There is no one like a mother,” he wrote. The mother-son duo could be seen hugging as they looked at the camera.
Twinkle Khanna, also spent a day with mother Dimple Kapadia and shared a glimpse of it in a post dedicated to the veteran actor. “Mothers’s Day spent in the best way possible in these circumstances. We both can’t keep our hands still. She is sketching, I am doing my embroidery and we continue chatting all through. #HappyMothersday,” Twinkle wrote with the photo featuring her with Dimple.
Sharing a picture of his birth mother, Salma Khan, Salman wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day". In the picture, she can be seen posing in a black saree.
On a separate Instagram post, he shared a picture of the veteran Bollywood actress and dancer Helen and wished her on the occasion as well. "Happy Mother’s Day," the actor wrote again.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shared an adorable Mother’s Day wish with fans on social media. On Sunday night, the actress took to Instagram to share a throwback picture in which she can be seen cuddling with her baby daughter Aaradhya, who seems to be napping in her mother’s arms. Along with the photo, Aishwarya wrote, “MY LOVE… MY LIFE… ETERNALLY, INFINITELY,UNCONDITIONALLY (sic)."
The actress shared another throwback picture with her parents Krsihnaraj and Vrinda Rai and her daughter Aaradhya in her arms. “LOVE OF MY LIFE (sic)," she wrote as a caption.
