After directing the critically-acclaimed film Section 375, Ajay Bahl is said to be working on two projects. One is Goodbye Freddy and the other is an untitled romantic thriller. Now, it seems Ajay has found his lead for the romantic thriller he'll be directing. According to an entertainment portal's report, Arjun Kapoor has signed the film. A source close to the development informed that he will be paired opposite two heroines.  

"It’s a romantic thriller produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shaailesh R Singh. The premise could be a love triangle with Arjun being the hero of the film who is paired alongside two heroines. Other details of the story have been kept under wraps for now, however, the idea is to take the film on floors as soon as possible," the source told.

The source further said that the makers will chart out the shooting schedule once the situation is normal. "The character, though flamboyant, required a certain amount restraint and it’s after watching Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar that the director offered the film to Arjun. It was an instant yes from Arjun, as he loved the romantically thrilling world that an acclaimed film-maker like Ajay has created," the source said. 

Arjun was last seen in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar which recently released on Amazon Prime Video. Though the film didn't work well at the box office, it is garnering attention on OTT. The actor is awaiting the release of Bhoot Police.
