Amitabh Bachchan is unarguably one of the most iconic and versatile Bollywood actors and not to forget, he is aging like fine wine at the age of 78. Interestingly, today marks 52 years of the legendary actor in the film industry as started shooting for his debut film, Saat Hindustani, on this date in 1969. Ever since then, Big B has seen several ups and downs in his illustrious career but he always fought against the odds to become the megastar that he is today.

As Big B's journey in the film industry completes 52 years today, it would not be wrong to say that he has seen it all, from touching the pinnacle of stardom to facing failure in his days of bankruptcy and then seeing a meteoric rise.
On the silver screen, Amitabh will next be seen in filmmaker Rumi Jaffrey's Chehre, Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra and director Nagraj Manjule's Jhund.
