‘Please mute,’ says judge as fanboy sings ‘Ghoonghat Ki Aad Se Dilbar Ka’ seeing Juhi Chawla at 5G virtual hearing

Juhi Chawla had recently filed a lawsuit against setting up of 5G network in the country. The online hearing on the case was held today but got disrupted thrice as the actor-turned-environmentalist joined the online hearing. The disruption was not in the form of low network but a fanboy singing popular hit songs of Juhi. As soon as the actor joined the online hearing, some started humming Ghoonghat Ki Aad Se Dilbar Ka, a popular song from Juhi’s hit film Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke.

The interruptions began right from the beginning of the hearing when some visitor persistently kept asking "where is Juhi ma'am. I can't see Juhi ma'am." Later the singing started and when the ‘courtroom’ singer was not identified, Justice JR Midha who was presiding over the case said, “Please mute”, while advocate Deepak Khosla who was appearing for Juhi said, “I hope this is not being dropped by some respondent."

The court was hearing the issue of court fees to be submitted by the plaintiff, while it was interrupted again by another Bollywood song, this time it was Lal Lal Hoton Pe Gori Kiska Naam Hai followed by Meri Banno Ki Ayegi Baraat. The Court then decided to go ahead and direct contempt of court action. "Please identify and issue contempt notice. Contact Delhi Police IT Department. We will issue notice," said Justice Midha.

The court also asked the IT Department of the Delhi HC to identify the person and convey it to Delhi Police for necessary action. Justice Midha also asked the court master to share the details of the disrupter with the Delhi Police. During the online hearing, some participant also flashed a mobile phone with a photo of Juhi. Interestingly, Juhi herself had tweeted about the hearing in the matter inviting people to join and also provided the web link to the virtual hearing.
