Veteran actor Dilip Kumar was admitted to Mumbai's Hinduja hospital on Sunday after complaining of breathlessness. He has been shifted to the non-COVID-19 section and a team of doctors are monitoring his health. According to reports, the nonagenarian has been diagnosed with "bilateral pleural effusion along with a drop in oxygen saturation".
As the actor is on the path to recovery, his wife and close family members put out a statement asking fans to not believe in any rumour regarding his health. "Don’t believe in WhatsApp forwards. Saab is stable. Thank you for your heart-felt duas and prayers. As per doctors, he should be home in 2-3 days. Insh’Allah," the tweet read.
