National Award winner Neena Gupta has faced hardships on the personal front in the past. The actress has never shied away from talking about her personal life and raising her daughter Masaba Gupta alone. Ahead of the launch of her tell-all autobiography titled Sach Kahun Toh, Neena revealed in an interview that though she faced financial problems, she was confident that she won't ask people for money.
Neena said that her mother taught her to be independent and that's why she knew that she would be okay doing any job without depending on anyone for money. "I had confidence that I won't ask for my money or anything else. Mai kuch na kuch kar lugi. Mujhe koi kaam karne mei sharam nahi hai, ye meri maa se maine seekha. Mai jhadu laga lugi, mai bartan maanjh lugi, lekin mai maangugi nahi, isiliye mujhe wo confidence that," Neena told.
In the month of May, Masaba, a renowned fashion designer, shared pictures of paragraphs where Neena mentioned that she didn't even have Rs. 10,000 for a C-section delivery. Fortunately, a tax reimbursement of Rs. 9,000 came to her a few days before Masaba's birth and saved the situation.
Sach Kahun Toh will hit the stands on June 14.
