Salman Khan had announced his film with Sajid Nadiadwala titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali in January 2020. The film directed by Farhad Samji was scheduled to release on Eid 2021 but the entire plan got disrupted due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Now, it seems the makers are gearing up to release the first look of the film next month. According to a leading daily's report, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is now titled Bhaijaan.
A source close to the development told that Salman will be doing a photoshoot with the cast at his Panvel farmhouse once the situation is better. Reportedly, the new title and the poster will be launched on Bakri Eid that is July 21. "Once the situation improves, Salman will come down from his Panvel farmhouse for a photoshoot with the cast. Designer Ashley Rebello has begun planning his look; the superstar will don a white kurta and jeans, sporting a clean-shaven look," the source told.
As per the report, the film is a remake of a Tamil film. Reportedly, Salman, the eldest brother, believes that marriage can create disharmony in the family. However, when his 3 younger brothers find love, they conspire to find a match for him. The source said, "Since the movie focuses on the bond of brotherhood, Salman, Farhad and Sajid feel the title, 'Bhaijaan', perfectly captures its essence."
If all goes well, the shoot of Bhaijaan will start in November this year, stated the report. "Come November, the project will roll at a bungalow in ND Studios in Karjat, followed by stints at multiple locations. The makers are targeting a Diwali 2022 release," the source added.
The Farhad Samji-directorial also stars Pooja Hegde, Asim Riaz, Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal.
