Late actor Irrfan's son, Babil I. Khan, has chosen to follow his father's footsteps in films. The youngster desires to be an actor and has already signed a couple of projects. Babil will be making his acting debut in Anushka Sharma-produced Qala. Now, as he wishes to focus on his acting career, Babil has dropped out of college. Announcing his decision, he shared a couple of unseen pictures of himself shooting a scene.
Babil wrote, "I will miss you so much. My beautiful friends. I have a very tight circle here in Mumbai, literally 2-3 friends in total. You all gave me a home in a strange cold place and made me feel like I belonged. Thank you, I love you. Film BA, dropping out today, with over 120 credits cause I’m giving it all to acting as of now. Goodbye university of Westminster. I love you my truest friends."
Speaking of Qala, the Netflix film is being directed by Anvitaa Dutt. It also stars Tripti Dimri and Swastika Mukherjee. A teaser was shared on April 10 and the film got a shoutout from Amitabh Bachchan.
On the other hand, Babil is teaming up with Shoojit Sircar and Ronnie Lahiri for his second project. Details are kept under tight wraps. Babil shared pictures with Shoojit and Ronnie and wrote, "Honoured to work with you legends (aye it's a shame we didn't take a picture together @zaynmarie)"
