Mandira Bedi’s husband and filmmaker-producer Raj Kaushal passed away today after suffering a cardiac arrest. His untimely and sudden demise shook Bollywood and his friends from the industry were left in shock at his passing. Kaushal was only 49 years old.
Bollywood celebs mourned his death and paid tributes to Kaushal on social media with heart wrenching posts. Kaushal, who began his career as a copywriter, was best-known for directing Anthony Kaun Hai, Shaadi Ka Laddoo (also featuring Mandira Bedi) and Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. He was the producer of the 2005 film My Brother...Nikhil. The film, directed by Onir, starred Juhi Chawla and Sanjay Suri.
Raj Kaushal is survived by wife Mandira Bedi and their two children - son Vir, 10, and 4-year-old daughter Tara, who joined the family last year.
