Jaaved Jaaferi's son Meezaan is in the news every now and then for his alleged relationship with Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda. Now, after several reports and rumours, Meezaan has finally opened up about what is actually going on between the two and well, they are 'just friends'.
Meezaan maintains that they are just friends. However, because of the link-up rumours, it became awkward for him to enter Big B's house Jalsa, it became tough for him to face his parents (Mr and Mrs Javed Jafferi) as they stared looking quizzically at him.
But the awkwardness is gone now, he added. Time passed by and Meezaan did visit Jalsa again. "At that time, it was awkward for me to enter my own house. My parents were giving me looks. And they were like 'what is this?' and I was like 'even I don't know'. I last went there (Jalsa) when they hosted a Diwali bash. The entire industry was there."
Meezaan also clarified that he and Navya became friends because of his sister and Navya being best friends. "They both studied together in New York," he concluded by saying, "Plus, our family- hers and mine- are in movies. So we know each other."
