The prayer meet of Mandira Bedi’s husband and filmmaker Raj Kaushal was held today. Raj passed away due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 49 on June 30. His untimely and sudden demise shook Bollywood and the TV industry as celebs paid him a tearful farewell.
Today, Mandira’s parents and son Vir and daughter Tara also attended the prayer meet. Several celebs including Mouni Roy, Vidya Malavade, Ashish Chowdhry’s wife Samita Bangargi, Aditi Govitrikar and others attended the meet. See their pictures below:
Mandira and Raj had gotten married in 1999 and they welcomed their son Vir in 2011. They adopted their 4-year-old daughter Tara last year in July. Their son Vir is now 10. Mandira performed the last rites of her husband on Wednesday afternoon.
Raj had directed films like Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi and Shaadi Ka Ladoo. He also produced Onir’s directorial My Brother…Nikhil and ran his own production company. He had directed over 800 commercials.
