Alia Bhatt is making her debut as a producer with the upcoming film, Darlings. She will be starring in the lead too with Vijay Varma, Shefali Shah and Roshan Matthew. The actress turned producer started shooting for the film in the city on Saturday. Expressing her nervousness, Alia shared pictures from her makeup room on Twitter. 

Hours later, Shah Rukh Khan, who is co-producing Darlings with Alia, requested her to sign him in her next production. He promised his 'little one' that he'll be on time and be professional. Shah Rukh tweeted, "After this production please sign me up for your next home production little one. I will come in time for the shoot and be very professional..promise!"

Shah Rukh and Alia shared the screen space in Gauri Shinde's Dear Zindagi (2016). Alia launched her production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions, on March 1 this year. Darlings marks the directorial debut of Jasmeet K Reen. It is written by Parveez Sheikh and Jasmeet.
