Today morning at 7.30 am, Bollywood lost its gem, Dilip Kumar. Born as Mohammed Yusuf Khan, Dilip Sahab was 98 years old. He breathed his last at Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital where he was admitted after complaining of breathlessness since last week. Soon after the news of his demise broke, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and Indian National Congress' Rahul Gandhi offered condolences.
According to PeepingMoon sources, PM Modi called Dilip Sahab's wife Saira Banu to offer condolence. He tweeted, "Dilip Kumar Ji will be remembered as a cinematic legend. He was blessed with unparalleled brilliance, due to which audiences across generations were enthralled. His passing away is a loss to our cultural world. Condolences to his family, friends and innumerable admirers. RIP."
