There has been no news on Salman Khan’s and Katrina Kaif’s Tiger 3 ever since the film’s shoot was abruptly put on halt in mid-April due to the second coronavirus wave. The film’s set at SRPF Grounds in Goregaon was also dismantled after it was partially destroyed due to Cyclone Tauktae at the behest of producer Aditya Chopra. However, now as per media reports, Chopra has given his go-ahead for the shoot to resume in the knowledge that the entire crew has at least got their first dose of covid vaccine and the team is all set to resume work from July 23.
Director Maneesh Sharma has begun the prep for the two-week shooting schedule that is reportedly going to be conducted at the Yash Raj Studios in Andheri. A tabloid quoted a source that said, “Of the cast, only the leads will report to the set for the first few days. Maneesh sir wants to film a few dramatic sequences with them.” Emraan Hashmi, who plays the antagonist in the film will also join the shoot to film a pivotal confrontation scene with Salman.
Apparently, the makers have decided not to reconstruct the set which was supposed to be a replica of a Middle-Eastern market at the Goregaon ground, irrespective of the fact that a few portions are yet to be filmed. The tabloid reported, “With the situation improving, Aditya and Maneesh are keen to pursue their plan of an international schedule. The team is likely to head out of the country post August 15. While the destinations have yet to be locked, Europe and the Middle East form a part of the narrative. So, they thought it would be wiser to shoot the remaining portions at a market in Dubai.”
