Akshay Kumar recently said that he takes inspiration from real life to portray his roles on screen. The actor, who has never underwent any professional training in acting but has been a part of the industry for the last 30 years with myriad roles took to Instagram today to announce that he will conduct a masterclass in acting for aspiring actors on the SocialSwag application. Akshay is often touted as the actor who has always reinvented himself and grown immensely as an actor by his contemporaries and through the app he would probably like to pass on his wisdom learned through experience.
Taking to social media, he shared a video wherein he opened up about his process of acting and revealed how he never had the opportunity to formally learn acting. He captioned the video, “When I was an aspiring actor, we never had opportunities to formally learn the ropes. Times have changed. You can now attend my professional masterclass and draw lessons from my 30 yr journey of some success and loads of pitfalls :) Right here, on @socialswagworld.”
Akshay said in the clip, “I go my own way...this is my method. I take the inspiration of how to play a character from real life. You all can be remembered lifetime even with a minute role... so through this session, I would like to share with you my learnings from my 30 years of experience in Indian cinema.”
On the work front, Akshay remains one of the busiest actors of Bollywood. The actor is currently shooting for Raksha Bandhan and has Ram Setu, Bachchan Pandey, Atrangi Re and Prithviraj in the pipeline. He is awaiting the release of Sooryavanshi and Bell Bottom.
