On July 27, PeepingMoon.com had exclusively informed its readers that Akshay Kumar's Bell Bottom will be releasing in theatres on August 19. Co-starring Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Lara Dutta, and Adil Hussain, the espionage film directed by Ranjit M Tewari is expected to be Bollywood's first big-budget release after the second COVID-19 lockdown. With just 16 days left for Bell Bottom's release, the makers today announced that the film will release in theatres in 3D format too.
Akshay, who plays the lead role in Bell Bottom, shared a video with the background music of the film. He announced the espionage film's 3D release and wrote, "Poore feel ke saath thrill experience karna on 19th August. #BellBottom also arriving in 3D. #BellBottomIn3D"
Bell Bottom revolves around a hijacked flight and Akshay plays the role of a spy who is on a mission to rescue nearly 212 Indians onboard. It is based on a true event.
Bell Bottom is presented by Pooja Entertainment presents in association with Emmay Entertainment. It is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. Bell Bottom is written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh.
