Alaya F made a confident debut opposite Saif Ali Khan and Tabu in Jawaani Jaaneman (2020). The daughter of Pooja Bedi and granddaughter of Kabir Bedi, Alaya showed promise in her performance. Now, according to the latest reports, the young actress is on the verge of signing her third film. 

A leading daily's report stated that Alaya was approached to feature opposite Kartik Aaryan in his next film, Freddy. The Jawaani Jaaneman reportedly has a meaty role and she was pleased when the film was offered to her. A source close to the development told the daily that a few modalities are being worked out with her before she signs Freddy.

Freddy is a romantic thriller starring Kartik in the titular role. The film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh of Veere Di Wedding fame. Ekta Kapoor in collaboration with Jay Shewakramani will be producing Freddy. It is jointly produced by Balaji Telefilms and Northern Lights Films.

Alaya's second film, the Hindi remake of the Kannada film, U-Turn, is also produced by Ekta under her banner Cult Movies.
