Headlined by Hrithik Roshan, the big-ticket film proved to be one of the major turning points in the star’s career as he walked away with unanimously rave reviews for his nuanced performance in the film. Essaying the role of a developmentally disabled boy who befriends Jadoo, an extraterrestrial being, Hrithik Roshan made a clean sweep at the award functions that year with Koi Mil Gaya becoming the most successful and talked-about film of 2003.
