'Akshay Kumar's digital debut 'The End' to go on floors in 2022,' actor confirms

In March 2019, Akshay Kumar had announced that he will be making his much-awaited digital debut with Amazon Prime Video's action thriller The End. Touted as one of the OTT giant's biggest projects, the series was scheduled to go on floors in 2020. However, COVID-19 spoiled the plans. However, now while talking to the media while promoting his upcoming film Bell Bottom, AK revealed shooting plans for The End

When asked when he will start shooting for the Amazon Prime Video show, Akshay said, "Ya, I am doing it - The End. I will start it next year"

AK has back-to-back projects in his kitty and the actor has already finished shooting for 5 films amid the COVID-19 pandemic. When asked how he manages to do it all, AK said, "I don't understand why people think it's not achievable. I fail to understand why is it not possible. I do 4 films a year, each film takes 40 days to shoot so 160 days in total. Then I am left with 160 days more in which I do ads, take trips with my family, host reality shows, take a holiday every Sunday. You can easily do it."

For the unversed, The End was to be shot in India and abroad, however, due to the pandemic, the makers will now take a final call on the location 'after the situation stabilises'.
