A lot has been said about Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi release date in the past year. From it being rescheduled to reports of the film having an OTT release, the Akshay Kumar starrer has been in the news ever since the film's trailer launched in March 2020.
Now, while promoting his upcoming film Bell Bottom, Akshay gave a small update about the film's release date and said that only 'God and Rohit Shetty' know about it. The actor said, "Only 2 people know about Sooryavanshi - God and Rohit Shetty."

When asked if the film is expected to be released in Diwali 2021, AK added, "I don't know about this but I hope. I am also keeping my fingers crossed. I hope Sooryavanshi releases as soon as possible. Even I am very excited, I also want to see Sooryavanshi on big screens. I would prefer it to come on big screens."
Sooryavanshi also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead and has Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh in special cameo appearances. Looks like, the film is all set to hit the theatres soon but until then, enjoy the power-packed trailer of Sooryavanshi!
