Just before welcoming her second son, Jeh Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan shifted to her new apartment with her husband Saif Ali Khan and elder son Taimur Ali Khan. In an interview, Saif had revealed that their new abode is right opposite their previous building Fortune Heights. While Kareena often offers glimpses into her residence, an old picture of her from the griha pravesh ceremony went viral.
Fans of Kareena found the picture in her newly launched book Pregnancy Bible. According to reports, Kareena was 8 months pregnant with Jeh when the griha pravesh ceremony took place. In the picture, the actress can be seen in a mint coloured dress. Kareena prepared milk on the stove as a part of the ritual and one can see a platter of flowers kept on the kitchen platform. The picture also offered a glimpse of the tastefully done kitchen.
In an interview, Kareena and Saif's interior designer spoke about the property and told, "Saif and Kareena’s new house is an extension of sorts of the old one. They had become extremely comfortable with their house in Fortune Heights; they just didn't want to move out... It also meets their new set of requirements with their second baby on the way. It has a beautiful new nursery for the baby, and Taimur’s own space as he’s growing up. It’s a lot larger than their old house; it’s more spacious with beautiful terraces, a swimming pool, outdoor areas, and open spaces that have been landscaped. It has room for everyone."
Kareena and Saif, in their luxurious abode, host many parties for family members and friends.
