Alia Bhatt reviews Shershaah, says ex- beau Sidharth Malhotra is 'too too special' in the film

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's cinematic tribute to Kargil war hero Captain Vikram Batra in the recently released film Shershaah has moved the audience and critics to tears. A tale of sacrifice, valour and undying love, Shershaah directed by Vishnu Varadhan received a thumbs up for the Batra family and the Indian Army. Now, as the film continues to win hearts on Amazon Prime Video, Alia Bhatt also can't stop lavishing praise. 

The actress reviewed the film. Sharing a note on her Instagram stories, Alia wrote, "Must must must watch! This film has made me laugh and cry and everything more. @sidmalhotra you were too too special yaa! So so moving! And @kiaraaliaadvani my beautiful, you really just shine right through! Congratulations to the whole team and the entire cast. Such a lovely film!!!!!"

For the unversed, Alia and Sidharth made their debut together in Karan Johar's Student Of The Year (2012). Reportedly, they were dating each other for some years. After their alleged breakup, Alia is now in a relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. Rumours are rife that Sidharth and Kiara are a couple. 

Directed by Vishnu Varadhan, Shershaah is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment. It released on Amazon Prime Video on August 12.
