Aparshakti Khurana is now a proud father of a baby girl! The actor's wife Aakriti Ahuja gave birth to their daughter today at a hospital in Chandigarh. Aparshakti, who is gearing up for the release of his film Helmet, shared the good news on his Instagram stories.
Aparshakti revealed that the baby girl has been named Arzoie A. Khurana. Reportedly, the meaning of Arzoie in Punjabi is "a humble request to Guru Nanak". Sharing the announcement, Aparshakti and Aakriti wrote in the note, "Aakriti & Aparshakti welcome with love Arzoie A. Khurana Born August 27th 2021 (sic)"
Aparshakti's elder brother Ayushmann Khurrana shared the news on his Instagram stories and wrote, "A new member in the family. Best feeling!"
In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon for his film Helmet, Aparshakti opened up about embracing fatherhood after 7 years of marriage. He further said he'll be taking paternity leave to be with his little one and wife.
