Bhavina Patel clinches silver medal Tokyo Paralympics; Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu and others congratulate her

At the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, India's Bhavinaben Patel created history by clinching a silver medal in the women’s individual Class 4 Table Tennis on Sunday. Bhavina, who was diagnosed with polio when she was 12 months old, secured the first medal for India in table tennis in the Paralympics and the country's first medal at the Tokyo Paralympics.

Soon after the news broke, Akshay Kumar tweeted, "Thank you for making history with your medal, #BhavinaPatel. It amazes me to see your talent and perseverance. #Paralympics #Tokyo2020"
