Akshay Kumar took to social media to express his gratitude towards fans and friends who showed concern for his mother Aruna Bhatia’s health. The actor also asked everyone to pray for his mother saying that ‘it is a very tough hour for me and my family’.
Akshay captioned the post, “Touched beyond words at your concern for my mom’s health. This is a very tough hour for me and my family. Every single prayer of yours would greatly help.”

Aruna Bhatia was taken critically ill recently and has been admitted in the ICU of Hiranandani Hospital at Powai. The alarming news brought Akshay back to Mumbai leaving his shooting schedule in London for Ranjit Tewari’s psychological thriller Cinderella for the time being. The film is being produced by Vashu Bhagnani.
