The festive season in India has kickstarted and celebrities are making the most of the vibe. On Friday, celebrities welcomed Ganpati home during the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. The 11 days festival is seeing a low-key celebration due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A day after welcoming the Lord of wisdom home with much fanfare and precaution too, celebrities were seen participating in Ganpati Visarjan rituals on Saturday evening.
Shilpa Shetty was seen taking the Ganesh idol for visarjan. She was with her son Viaan, daughter Samisha and mother Sunanda. According to reports, her husband Raj Kundra's parents were a part of the visarjan too. Raj is currently in judicial custody. The actress was seen twinning with her children in matching outfits. Shilpa took the eco-friendly route and did Ganpati visarjan in a huge tub outside her bungalow.
The Pandays- Chunky, Bhavana, Ananya and Rysa bid adieu to Ganpati on Saturday evening. Ananya shared pictures on Instagram. She wrote, "Missing you already Bappa. PUDHCHYA VARSHI LAVKAR YA"
Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia celebrated their first Ganesh Chaturthi together. On Saturday evening, they took their Ganpati idol for visarjan. The actress wore a printed saree whereas the actor wore a white kurta. Eijaz was clicked as he planted a kiss on Pavitra's cheek.
