Shah Rukh Khan, who was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero in 2018 is all set to start shooting for Rajkumar Hirani’s next directorial. Although the film’s official announcement is still awaited, speculations have been rife about the two stalwarts finally collaborating on a project. However, today the cat is finally out of the bag as writer Kanika Dhillon announced the project on social media by expressing her elation on penning the comedy-drama with Abhijat Joshi.

Kanika wrote, “Yes! Super excited for my next film! Cos am working with all the people I love n adore!This one is super special! @RajkumarHirani @iamsrk #abhijaatjoshi!”

A leading daily also quoted a source that said, “The script of Rajkumar Hirani’s film with Shah Rukh Khan has been locked and is ready for production. Hirani, Kanika Dhillon and Abhijat Joshi worked on the script for over a year and all through the lockdown. Going by what is being spoken about the script, it definitely seems like Hirani has another hit film up his sleeve.”

On the other hand, SRK will also be seen in YRF’s Pathan along with Deepika Padukone and Joh Abraham and Atlee’s film opposite Nayanthara and Priyamani.
