Shahid Kapoor today held an impromptu ‘Question and Answer’ session with his followers on Twitter. His ‘Ask Me Anything’ session saw a bevy of questions fielded by the actor as he picked his film Kabir Singh over Jab We Met and got the internet divided, spoke about his upcoming film Jersey and expressed desire to work with Samantha Akkineni. His QnA session also got cheeky and hilarious as the actor was asked whether it was difficult to handle his kids or his wife Mira Rajput.
During the interaction, Shahid opened up about his much-awaited film Jersey which will be hitting the screens on December 31 this year. When asked about his ‘favourite cricketer?’ the actor revealed it’s Sachin Tendulkar who has his heart all time and also spoke about sharing screen space with Mrunal Thakur in the film. He called Jersey his ‘best filmmaking experience yet’. His QnA session made him one of the top trends on Twitter.

However, Shahid picking up Kabir Singh over Jab We Met had the internet divided as many said that this is what is wrong with society as he chose a ‘toxic character’ over a much sorted and sweet character. However, many reasoned that Jab We Met was more of a Kareena Kapoor Khan’s film whereas Shahid led from the front in Kabir Singh, also it was his highest grossing film.

Another wanted Shahid to describe actor Nani in one word. Nani played the lead role in the Telugu film Jersey, which Shahid is essaying in the Hindi version. He said, “I think Nani did an amazing job in Jersey. He made me cry. So I would say he inspired me to do this film.”
