Aryan Khan, the 23-year-old son of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan is counting minutes to leave jail. Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail was where he was kept in custody for almost 27 days after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a raid on a cruise on October 2. Finally, Aryan will walk out of jail with Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha around 10 am today.
Aryan was expected to be released on Friday evening. However, due to a delay in paperwork, he had to spend another night in Arthur Road Jail. Today morning, at 5.30 am, jail authorities opened the bail orders box. At 6.30 am, the bail orders reached Arthur Road Jail's office. Hours later, around 8 am, the procedure for Aryan's release was initiated.
At 8.15 am this morning, Shah Rukh and his convoy left for Arthur Road Jail from Mannat. Aryan, at this moment, is waiting for his turn to walk out free.
On Friday evening, Mannat, the bungalow owned by Shah Rukh, was lit up for Aryan's homecoming after 27 days.
