On March 31, PeepingMoon exclusively released the final cast of Shashank Khaitan's comedy-drama. Vicky Kaushal stepped in for the lead role along with his leading ladies Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani. Today, Dharma Productions announced its masala entertainer titled Govinda Naam Mera.
The out-and-out comedy entertainer will star Vicky as a dancer whose life is full of unlimited laughter, confusion and chaos. Sharing his first poster, Vicky wrote, "Tevar hai jhakaas, dance hai first class, par life? Life hai ekdum chaos! Meet me - #GovindaNaamMera only in cinemas on 10th June 2022. Arrey rukiye, meet my partners in crime! Stay tuned!"
This is the second Vicky-Kiara film together. They were first seen in the 2018 anthology Lust Stories with their segment being directed by Karan Johar. Bhumi will also be sharing screen space with Vicky for the second time after their 2020 film Bhoot Part 1: The Haunted Ship.
Govinda Naam Mera stars Bhumi as Vicky's 'hottie wife' and Kiara as his 'naughty girlfriend'. Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the Shashank Khaitan directorial is all set to release in cinemas on June 10, 2022.
