Former American boxer Mike Tyson has joined the cast of Puri Jagannadh's pan-India film Liger. He will be featured in a pivotal role. Liger stars Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Ronit Roy, Ramya Krishnan and Vishnu Reddy. The team of the action-thriller kickstarted the USA schedule today and from now, Mike will be filming his portions with Vijay.
'Liger' Vijay shared a picture with the boxing 'legend'. His Instagram caption read, "This man is love. Every moment I am making memories! And this one will forever be special..#Liger Vs The Legend..When I came face to face with Iron (sic)"
Liger was officially announced with Vijay's look poster on January 18. The film was scheduled to release in theatres in September, however, due to the pandemic and lockdown, it had to be postponed. The new release date is yet to be announced.
Liger will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. It is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur.
